What is Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.8 ?
Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.8 library is a set of data access components that is required by Electra® to be operational.
How to check if Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.8 or later is installed on your system?
The version information for Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects is stored in the registry.
  1. On the Start menu, click Run.
  2. In the Open text box, type regedit and then click OK; this starts Registry Editor.
  3. In the Navigation pane, drill-down to the following path:
  4.     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DataAccess
