Extensive Report Generation.
Drastically cuts report generation time by using report shapes on Electra. Users can insert these reports into their electrical CAD drawings at any stage of their electrical design. Generated reports automatically 'auto-fit' to text and have options to disable or enable columns. If they overflow, another shape will automatically be created, allowing reports to be spanned over multiple pages.
Electra provides Cross Reference report, Material Reference report, Bill of Material (BOM) report, Cable Reference report and Connections (From/To) report.

Exporting Reports to Excel.
Exporting reports to Excel is just a matter of a single click of a menu. All reports in Electra are exportable to Excel at any stage of your electrical CAD design.
From Excel, these data can be accessed and edited by non-engineers for conversion into invoices, purchase orders or further refined for quotations or sales and profit reports.
Benefits: Being able to export data easily to Excel not only improves productivity for the engineering team, but the productivity trickles down to administration staffs where these data can be easily used for request for quotations and purchase orders. It basically means improving your bottom line.
Importing Reports from Excel.
Using the Material Reference report as a template, components that is assigned to symbols can be easily added, deleted or modified in Excel, with full Excel editing capabilities, including formulas. It's just simpler and easier to edit components, or copy and paste manufacturer's data in Excel.
Once edited, these information can be imported back into an electrical schematic drawing with just a single click of the import button. Dimensions, quantities and pricing can all be edited and imported in a batch. In addition, users get to choose all symbols, or only a small set, during both export and import, therefore making these editing small and manageable.

Benefits: Importing data in batches onto a drawing means more than just easy editing. It also means you can add in "workmanship" as a component and assign a quantity and pricing onto it, then have Electra generate a Bill of Material that includes "workmanship".
Modular electrical panel makers and users can create modular symbols easily and import multiple components.
